From disconnected records to a checked answer
Work through a small membership question without buying or configuring a new system.
The question you will answer
Which members attended the 2026 conference, completed a certification in 2026, and explicitly described an unresolved concern about value for dues?
You will connect source records, remove one attendance duplicate, preserve mixed feedback and leave an anonymous response unlinked. Then turn the P101/P102 finding into a useful internal brief with an authorized audience, source evidence, limits and a next action. An optional extension uses a separate chapter aggregate to practice benchmark reporting; it is not required for the core exercise.
For a network of independent member organizations: the workbook also offers a five-step alternative using three fictional organization returns and three feedback summaries. Work from shared definitions and organization IDs to reviewed findings, local/network reports and a pilot that returns useful information to members. Complete the path that fits your role; you do not need to do both.
How to use the pack
- Extract the ZIP into a folder if you downloaded it. Keep the files together.
- Open workbook.html in your browser. Type your answers or print it to work on paper.
- Open the CSV files in a spreadsheet or text editor. Treat IDs as text. The source files are intentionally small enough to inspect manually.
- Work through question, matching, comments, useful report and pilot in that order. Check the answer key after attempting each exercise. Try the separate benchmark extension only if it fits your work.
- Use Download my answers before closing the workbook, or Print / save as PDF. No answers are sent to a server; unsaved entries disappear on refresh.

Keep these distinctions visible
- A concern is not a prediction. A negative dues-value comment does not prove that a person will fail to renew.
- Anonymous means unlinked. R5 has no identifier; do not infer one from text or another record.
- The benchmark is a separate aggregate. The six-member extract is not the full population behind the 90 eligible members in the chapter table.
- Thresholds need context. This exercise's minimum of 10 usable responses is an illustrative release rule, not a guarantee of anonymity, compliance or statistical reliability.
- Useful does not automatically mean saleable. A potential paid benchmark needs evidence of reader value and willingness to pay.
