Most teams finish the basics in an afternoon. You add your workspace, invite a couple of people, and connect the tools you already use. Anything extra — custom fields, roles, or imports — can wait until the second day. Nothing is blocked while those pieces catch up.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade whenever you want from billing. The new plan starts on the next cycle, and unused time on the old plan is credited automatically. Seats and storage follow the plan you are on, so you will see those limits update as soon as the switch goes through.
Every new workspace gets fourteen days with the full feature set. No card is required to start. Near the end of the trial we send a reminder, and if you do nothing the workspace simply pauses. You can reopen it later without losing the files you already added.
You pay per active seat, billed monthly or yearly. Guests who only comment do not count. If someone leaves, their seat frees up at the end of the period. Invoices go to the billing email on the account, and you can add a purchase order number if your finance team needs it.
That is the default. Create groups for departments, then share projects with a group instead of with each person. Admins can lock templates and naming rules so things stay tidy as the roster grows. If you later need a separate workspace, you can split one out without rebuilding everything.
Standard plans include a recorded walkthrough and a shared checklist. Teams on the yearly plan also get two live sessions with a specialist. After that, help stays in the in-app chat. We do not charge a separate onboarding fee unless you ask for a custom migration.
Files live in region-based storage. US workspaces stay in the US; EU workspaces stay in the EU. Backups run daily and are kept for thirty days. We do not sell account data, and you can export everything in a zip from settings whenever you need a local copy.
You keep access until the period you already paid for ends. After that the workspace switches to read-only for thirty days so you can export. Cancel from billing at any time — there is no call required, and we do not charge a close-out fee.
Open chat from the lower corner of the app, or email help@northline.example. Weekday replies usually land within a few hours. If a ticket needs screenshots or a screen share, we will book a short call. Status updates for incidents are posted on the status page, not buried in email.
